The Miracle of America Museum located at Polson, Montana, is situated along US Hwy 93 midway between Missoula and Kalispell, Mt. We are referred to as the "Smithsonian of the West" because of both the immensity and variety of artifacts on display. 40 building in the village behind the main building each have a different theme and are chocked full. They include a 1938 original log cabin Standard gas station.
Our slogan is "from the walking plow, to walking on the moon."Over 35 Autos and trucks range in years from 1910 through1971 and in size from 2nd model of King Midget to a 1954 Reo 5 ton Civil Defense rescue truck. The over 70 antique motorcycles date from1912 thru the 70s. Over 30 military vehicles date from WWII to the present.
Lots of kid and lady friendly displays as well w/ several interactive exhibits.
